The Los Feliz MedSpa offers the latest in the treatment of blue and red vascular lesions. We utilize two separate lasers, the Mediostar XT and the Viridis.

The Mediostar is equipped with a special tip that targets blue veins while the Viridis works on red vessels and vascular lesions. In a process called photocoagulation, the laser delivers a pulse of light that passes through the skin and is absorbed only by the vessel, causing it to close.

The most common areas treated are the legs and face. Spider veins, telangiectasias, hemangiomas and cherry angiomas (red spots) respond well to this treatment. A typical treatment takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes depending on the area begin treated. Treatments are done at 4 to 6 week intervals. Two to three treatments are usually required for optimal results.
